I've spent my life serving mission-driven organizations—not because I was looking for a career in consulting, but because I believe every person deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Growing up in Haiti, service wasn't something we scheduled. It was simply a way of life. Through my family's work in ministry and community development, I witnessed how compassionate leadership and strong organizations could transform lives. I interpreted during disaster response efforts, served alongside medical and dental teams, supported children's programs, helped with feeding initiatives, and watched communities come together around a shared purpose.

Those experiences shaped who I am.

As I grew older, I discovered that while I loved serving people directly, I was equally passionate about what happened behind the scenes. I became fascinated by building the systems that made meaningful work possible.

That passion continued through my work with MassHire, helping refugees, immigrants, and newcomers navigate employment, cultural differences, and life in the United States.

At Mission of Hope International, I helped build operational systems, technology solutions, marketing initiatives, donor engagement processes, project management workflows, and organizational infrastructure.

Today, Michel Consulting brings those experiences together to help nonprofits, ministries, workforce organizations, educational institutions, and community organizations strengthen operations and increase their impact.
